Do you have some experience within a Facilities orientated environment and some knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems from a maintenance perspective? We are looking for a self-motivated Mechanical Specialist Maintenance Engineer to join our Operations Engineering Team based in Dublin.The HVAC Facility Engineer will be responsible for managing the infrastructure within the Data Centre in conjunction with the Engineering and Facilities Managers. The HVAC Facilities Engineer will ensure optimum performance and longevity of critical HVAC plant by implementing the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme and through regular testing.ResponsibilitiesFacility / HVAC Infrastructure MaintenancePerforms site inspections and supervises the building and data centre alarmsPerforms basic preventative maintenance on site HVAC infrastructure (e.g. HVAC System PM’s including changing filters on air conditioning units), or manages vendorsAssists in repairs and corrective maintenance of HVAC SystemsSite AdministrationCompletion of site logs and data gathering for basic permits, such as MOPs and scriptsIncident ManagementAssists more senior staff with responding to all on-site incidentsMay begin responding to basic HVAC incidents based on own knowledge and experienceWork OrdersCompletes basic HVAC work requests and assists with circuit installationsCollaborationProvides assistance to department during routine maintenance activitiesWhat are we looking for?EssentialQualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or appropriate job related and building services experience.Have experience within a Facilities HVAC orientated environmentF-Gas Trained & CertifiedKnowledge and understanding of HVAC systems from a maintenance perspectivePermit to work issuance and Contractor control knowledgeHealth and Safety & Manual Handling trainedDesirableExperience of working with large mission critical data centre infrastructures in a Supervisory/technical/engineering capacity.Health and safety trained. e.g. IOSH trainedElectrical installation experienceKnowledge of cooling plant HVAC Systems operationWhat we offer!Competitive salaryPermanent Health Insurance (PHI)You are entitled to 23 days (for shift worker 16 days (12Hours) holiday calculated on a pro-rata basis) paid leave in each year in addition to any public holidays.
