This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.Working with the Commercial Solutions team this position will drive and implement standardization and best practices in evaluation of commercial language with contracts and agreements. This position provides a unique opportunity for a highly talented individual to drive significant value at a leading company driving this transformation and offers exposure to a wide variety of people and disciplines.Responsibilities and Duties:Responsible for coordinating the process of seeking internal agreement on external commercial redlines and participating in commercial negotiations.Drafting commercial amendments.Assist in the continued development and revisions to commercial language in agreements and contracts and transaction documentation. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement improvements for scalable and effective processes, including the document templates and lifecycles.Analyze commercial language in transaction documentation and redlines and identify nonconformities Calix commercial standards.Responsible for developing and managing a process for master document template lifecycles.Build and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders built on trust, transparency and communication across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Sales Operations, Legal.Identify trends and opportunities for continuous process improvement and collaborate with the larger cross functional team to lead process efficiencies.Create and manage process to document and train others on use of Commercial solutions resources, template documents and approval processes.Develop effective internal and external networks of relationships to progress deals. Flexibility to respond to changing needs and opportunities.Manage small projects, run meetings, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.Qualifications:Calix requires all employees based in North America who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated. Calix will consider requests for reasonable accommodations as required under applicable law.Minimum 7 years’ experience managing customer facing negotiations at the CxO level.5 years’ experience working with commercial transactions teams.Organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to build meaningful and influential relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.Outstanding document drafting, written and verbal communication skills.Must be extremely detail oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret data, applying sound judgement and best practices to work assigned - results focused.
