This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States.Calix is leading a service provider transformation to deliver a differentiated subscriber experience around the Smart Home and Business, while monetizing their network using Role based Cloud Services, Telemetry, Analytics, Automation, and the deployment of Software Driven Adaptive networks.As part of a high performing global engineering team, the right candidate will play a critical role in expanding the Calix Support Cloud solution. This person will define viable solutions that meet customer needs and lead a cross-functional team to implement them.Responsibilities and Duties: Work closely with product management in understanding the product requirements, product roadmap and business requirements. Provide feedback on viability and implementation options with project resources and time.Work closely with development leads to define viable solution (and refine that solution as the implementation is developed). Identify early on inter-dependencies and resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently.Groom the product backlog and contribute actively in standup meetings. Aid in identify and prioritizing functionality.Qualifications:Calix requires all employees based in North America who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated. Calix will consider requests for reasonable accommodations as required under applicable law.BS degree with 5+ years of telco business analyts/system engineering (or relevant/industry experience to match). Experience in/Knowledge of protocols & technologies for managing home gateways (TR-069/TR-369, TR-98/TR-181), in-home services, monitoring and efficiently curating data from millions of IoT/Wi-Fi devices a plus.Proficient understanding of Communications Service Provider networks and their operational requirements.Excellent leadership and communications skills. Must be able to be self-drive and collaborate within a team.Experience with PON technology and broadband access networks is a plus.Technical competence to drive decision making with engineering organizations.Good understanding of agile process and tools a plus.Understanding of Open Digital architecture principles a plus.BS degree in Computer Science, engineering, or mathematics or equivalent experience.Location:Remote-based position located in the United States.#LI-Remote
