This is a remote position based in the Western United States or Canada.We are currently seeking a proven sales leader to guide the West Region team, leading high-performance Cloud application sellers to record sales and customer success. Calix Cloud products were launched in early in 2017. We are now experiencing explosive growth and need to hire a proven sales leader to guide this expanding team. The team you will lead will be working with Calix account teams across your sales region selling our Calix Marketing Cloud and Managed Services portfolio to innovative Communication Service Providers (CSP’s) large and small. This role reports into the Area Vice President, Marketing Cloud and Managed Services Sales. As a leader of our Cloud Sales team you will be responsible for a team selling to new Tier 1, 2 & 3 accounts along with established Calix customers. Primarily, you will be responsible for ensuring the Calix Marketing Cloud and Managed Service sales team has all the tools necessary to deliver on the ambitious business goals Calix has set for them. You will also work with Calix Product and Marketing Leadership to provide critical field input to help define the next generation of analytics-based cloud solutions at Calix as we blaze a new trail in next-generation business applications. Responsibilities and Duties:Meet and exceed established sales goals.Manage the day-to-day and week-to-week operations of the sales team.Develop and drive territory, business and account planning.Ensure sales best practices are applied to support high velocity sales cycles, and high quality, sales performance.Manage the sales pipeline and provide forecasts of sales revenue.Leverage sales leadership experience to coach, develop and motivate the team as they grow as sales professionals.Collaborate with regional sales resources to bring subject matter expertise, strategy and support for customer engagements.Work closely with company leadership to select, evaluate and recruit new sales talent as needed.Qualifications:Calix requires all employees based in North America who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated. Calix will consider requests for reasonable accommodations as required under applicable law.5+ years of sales management experience with specific focus on cloud enabled solutions and experience in the Marketing Technology space.Track record of leading teams who over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions.Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CEO/CFO/CMO level.10+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales or pre-sales and account management experience.Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management.Candidates must be competitive, cooperative, collaborative and work well with customers both internal and external.Strong computer skills, including salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Must have a valid Driver's License.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in managing or selling into a Call Center / Customer Care environment.Experience selling into Tier 1 Solution Provider customers.Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references preferred.Bachelor and/or Master Degree in a Business, Commerce, or STEAM strongly preferred.Location:Remote-based position located in the Western United States.#LI-Remote#LI-RC1
