This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.As a part of the Calix marketing team, you’ll be helping us empower Broadband Service Providers to simplify their business, excite their subscribers, and grow value for their company. By evangelizing Services as a differentiator, BSPs can accelerate their time to market – a win-win for the BSP and for Calix. The Services Marketing Director role is responsible for working cross functionally with various Service Delivery leads and the Demand Generation Team to launch and promote new services and capabilities into market. The role will help drive awareness and demand for Calix Services as part of a differentiated and unmatched end-to-end solution specifically for Calix Customer Success, Business Insights Services, Professional Services and Education Services. The role will also help ensure successful new service launch and campaign execution across digital and social media channels and ensure Calix Services messaging in integrated into other product marketing campaigns.Responsibilities and Duties:Responsible for driving campaigns and tactics for Calix Services portfolio.Responsibilities will include developing customer facing messaging on features, capabilities, and benefits by persona.Develop go-to-market plans for new services and enhancements on a quarterly release cadence that includes customer persuasive case analysis descriptions, customer facing assets by buyer’s journey stage, sales enablement material, webinars, web updates, and demand gen activities.Work closely with subject matter experts for developing positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation for use in generating inbound activity and marketing leads.Responsible for identifying, preparing, updating, and tracking inventory of customer facing digital and descriptive assets based on web, social media and campaign requirements that are aligned with the customer journey.Work with Services Product Line Leaders, copywriters, and internal subject matter experts to bring customer facing assets to completion to help promote the services and create leads.Administer, review and update customer facing presentations in accordance with new product and service releases.Work on customer testimonial and solution focused videos including storyboard creation and development for use in digital, social media, paid media, and other demand gen activities.Perform market analysis and reporting and use of surveys for message development and campaign tactics.Develop targeted customer segment lists and associated digital marketing assets for demand generation outreach and nurturing activities.Work with subject matter experts on managing logistics and administrating customer webinars.Development and execution of campaign tactics, assets, report preparation and administration of launch and go-to-market activities.Qualifications:Calix requires all employees based in North America who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated. Calix will consider requests for reasonable accommodations as required under applicable law.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business.8-10 years relative marketing or product management experience with at least 4+ years’ marketing experience in a product marketing role (with a B2B focus, dealing with broadband service providers).Familiar with or experience in marketing and messaging data analytics services to enterprise customers.Familiar with marketing and messaging customer success service offerings to marketing, operations, and customer support organizations.Knowledge of broadband service provider customer support, operations, and marketing organizations.Knowledge of marketing and social media best practices and tactics include social outreach, campaign development, creative asset development, data collection and analysis.Proven ability to manage and retain strong relationships with colleagues, work with General Manager and C-level contacts within customers, and partners.An understanding of broadband technology concepts and associated professional, managed, and support services.Self-starter with strong verbal and written communications and organizational skills and work effectively in a team environment.Ability to work across organizations and collaborate with other teams both inside and outside marketing.Ability to work with customers in developing stories and collateral.Experience in delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment, with a demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.Understanding and experience around broadband solutions a plus.Thorough understanding of marketing and launch processes for hardware and software.Exceptional public speaking/presentation skills.Experience working in a geographically distributed team with ability to foster strong working relationship throughout the organization.Experience with a demonstrated track record of success in a fast paced, collaborative environment.Willing to travel 25%.Location:Remote-based position located in the United States or Canada.#LI-Remote
