This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States or Canada. Calix SmartTown helps service providers unite on-the-go communities of people with a private, secure, and safe Wi-Fi experience that drives customer loyalty and new business opportunities for Broadband Service Providers (BSPs) and their customers. SmartTown for smart schools leverages SmartTown to provide on-the-go Wi-Fi access to students, educators, and faculty–ensuring they have access to vast connected information, whenever they need it to excel in their studies and ultimately be ready to contribute back to their communities. Smart schools can provide connectivity in the BSPs footprint and beyond with eduroam, an international Wi-Fi roaming alliance.We are looking for a hands-on Sr Manager, Product Marketing to enable BSPs to deliver all of the above and more to education providers in their communities. This role is responsible for SmartTown educational positioning and marketing programs for broadband service providers globally. You will partner with a wide array of Calix teams to define and market educational solutions that combine platforms, software, systems, customer support, services, and success teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional that is passionate about education for all initiatives and bridging the digital divide, has a history of enabling school districts, campuses, and other educational environments with technology, and better yet–Wi-Fi connectivity to the internet.Responsibilities and Duties:Partner with Corporate Marketing, Product, Services, Success, and Sales teams to create compelling multi-dimensional education solutions that deliver exceptional value to broadband service providers and their communitiesWork with eduroam, industry groups, partners alliances, and government agencies to reinforce the benefits of community Wi-Fi applications for education and build a path forward for Calix BSPs to bring educational connectivity to the communities they serveDrive the creation of compelling collateral, ranging from webpages, solution briefs, white papers, blogs, and presentationsCreate recommended best practices and go-to-market business models for BSP successSales enablement - Work with our sales enablement team to communicate the education use case marketing message and positioning to the sales team and develop the content that supports the selling process for Calix solutions.Demand generation - develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for this use case in collaboration with our Demand Generation team.Author original digital and social media content including blogs, social posts, web, collateral, solution briefs, white papers, and assist with development of press releases.Create and present presentations to customers and industry eventsRequired Qualifications:Calix requires all employees based in North America who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated.
