Blue Yonder Title: Head of Global Business IntelligenceOther comparable title: VP of Global Business Intelligence and AnalyticsLocation: Primary residence on East Coast Time Zone requiredOverviewAs Head of Global Business Intelligence, you will report into the office of the COO, and will own the Data Analyses and Business Intelligence function across the company. The objective of the Global Business Intelligence Group is to design and own the overall measurements, approaches, and metrics, set the data infrastructure, and conduct BI Analysis on user behaviors, market insights, and business performance for the company to make the accurate, data-driven decisions.What you’ll doDevelop business intelligence (BI) gathering practices and the management of data and informationDefine core measurement frameworks, performance metrics and tracking from global operations perspectives including R&D, Back-Office, Customer Experience, Sales & MarketingLead a global team to monitor key metrics through creation of dashboards and reporting toolsManages and develops Industry and Competitive Intelligence, Macro Economic and Industry, Market Performance, Customer Intelligence and Segmentation activities across business functions. Provides relevant communication, ad-hoc research, and analyses as well as early warnings and long-term trends to support the positioning strategies.Design and maintenance of a system to warehouse data and informationCoordinate with decision makers in the company to ensure that information gathering and analysis support the overall development of business strategiesLead continuous improvement activities and implementation of new business initiativesWhat we are looking forProfessional Experience:Our ideal candidate has 15+ years of combined experience in data science and business intelligence within a software organization; working in a SaaS environment preferredProven experience building a BI program from the ground up across multiple operational areas (i.e., R&D, Back-Office, Customer Experience, Sales & Marketing,)Strong analytical skills that enable you to effectively leverage the wealth of data and insights at Blue YonderExperience building global teams in the areas of business intelligence, analytics, and data scienceIn-depth knowledge in some (or most of) the following tools: PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft AccessOther Skills and Abilities:Natural collaborator with the ability to recruit and inspire those on their teams as well as inspire other internal teams to work towards a common goalExtraordinary organizational skills with the ability to work cross functionally with other stakeholders, as well as senior global leadershipThe ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, growth environmentExemplary interpersonal, analytical and communications skillsCandidate application: Along with the submission of your resume/CV, please provide an example of your work; 1-2 slides with any personal/confidential information redacted/blacked out/modified.*LI-AD1#LI-remote-------------------------------------------The salary range for this position is: USD $187,200 - $243,000The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.At Blue Yonder, we care about the wellbeing of our employees and those most important to them.
