Role : Principle Software Engineerlocation : Dallas, TX or RemotePrimary Duties and Responsibilities:Core responsibilities includes focusing on innovation in SaaS platform engineering, spanning infrastructure architecture through enterprise, application platform features, to accelerate our application team’s delivery and solution quality.Give guidance and provide best practices for Cloud Native architecture patterns, focused on delivering multi-tenant SaaS solutions.Apply the appropriate software design patterns for building extensible, enterprise SaaS solutions.Influence fellow engineers by proposing software designs, providing feedback on software designs and implementations.Modular and Service based Architectural DesignThis is a hands-on role, we expect the candidate to be able to implement proofs-of-concepts, prototypes and define architecture designs and standards.Our teams currently comprise of global associates across US, Canada, India, and Germany. You keep up with software and process best practices and have a breadth of experience with different languages (Imperative, OO, Functional and declarative) and frameworks. You disseminate knowledge and strive to level up those around you.Be a change agent with technology development using cloud native architecture patternsCollaborate with application teams on adoption and extension of the Blue Yonder Luminate PlatformWhat we are looking for: Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relatedYou have 12+ years of Software Engineering experience and have experience in leadership roles across the full technology stack.You have demonstrated organizational impact in your career by championing software design and architecture initiatives across a large organization.Platform Engineering experience, building modern, cloud native software platforms in support of other groups within a company and external parties.Experience building and designing SaaS-native, multi-tenant applications, and familiarity with design patterns that support this model.Demonstrated experience in large-scale Kubernetes systems, including how to sufficiently scale and secure very large services in Kubernetes.Experience building robust, resilient, highly available, and scalable cloud native solutions.Experience working with SQL and no-SQL technologies, like Elasticsearch, Azure SQL, MongoDB, Postgres SQL and SnowflakeExperience in one of the public cloud technology stacks; Azure , AWS, GCPExperience in platform thinking and platform engineering for SaaS based solution delivery.Experience designing observability into products and platforms.Experience throughout the entire DevOps lifecycle; building, delivering, and operating native cloud services.Experience building and integrating identity management and authorization services.You have a passion for pulling others up the ladder in their technology career and sharing best practices with more junior engineers.Ability to collaborate well with the broader organization to include product management, product development, sales, services, and senior leadership.*LI-SR1*LI-Remote-------------------------------------------The salary range for this position is $143,647.00 - $210,760The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
