Overview Blue Yonder is currently seeking Solution Architect to join our Consulting Services team, specific to the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Solution Architect provides leadership and direction to the on-site implementation team on the design and execution of the solution and definition of business process workflows that accompany the solution. The aim of this role is to take ownership of a solution within an implementation project and architect software solutions that solve the customer’s business problem, while generating maximum value for the customer.Responsibilities Responsible for the overall product/business solution design and delivery aspects of implementation.Understands how the Blue Yonder WMS solution can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes (ensuring the ability to design, execute, and deliver).Provide functional and technical advice to the BY and Customer Project Teams for BY WMS solutions.Assists Project Managers in planning efforts including detailed project plan task detail (work breakdown structure) based on the specific phase/need of the project.Facilitates/leads business diagnostics, process analysis, and/or design workshops to help flush out as-is and desired to-be solution state and ultimately writes a solution design document to support business requirements.Drive End to end implementation of the solutions and integrations from design to go-live including supporting various functional testing cycles.Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology.Expertise in asking appropriate questions to assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity, architecture constraintsCommunicate project risks that may have a negative impact on the project schedule, scope, or budgetEscalate project issues that surface and cannot be quickly resolved which will have an impact on the project schedule, scope or budget.Communicates and/or supports the business cases to Product Management Group and Product Development regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements.Participates in core product discussions to ensure Customer Success is represented, providing input on the roadmap and other cross-functional discussions and initiatives.Proactively suggests and gets involved in organizational initiatives contributing to the global processes to achieve success for Blue Yonder, its associates, and customers.Offers mentorship and product-level leadership to the broader Customer Success team.Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodologyProvides level 3 non-technical support during the "go-live" periodProvides level 3 user support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrityServes as a technical liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors.Qualifications 8+ years of specific experience working within Blue Yonder WMS, either as a customer of Blue Yonder or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions for customers. Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as HighJump Manhattan or SAP may be considered.Strong domain knowledge of at least one of the following industries namely Retail, eCommerce, Omni-Channel, and 3PL/4PL.Good understanding of E2E execution workflows, architecture, integration, and project lifecycle with the ability to define implementation plan, and identify cross-functional dependencies.Preferably have experience in WMS workflow integration with WCS, warehouse automation, and robotics technology /partners.Ability to drive discussions on both functional processes and technical concepts in a language that can be understood across a diverse audience and multiple levels within customer’s/BY organizationAbility to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, and consultants.Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.SaaS skills are preferredOur ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
