We’re looking for a Sr. Finance & Strategy Manager, Pricing & Packaging to help us analyze and deeply understand the business and financial impact to inform pricing and monetization decisions to grow our business. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Data, and Leadership.

Our cash compensation amount for this role ranges from $162,000 - $222,000 for most US locations and $179,000 - $247,000 for US locations with a higher cost of labor. All figures cited above are in $USD and pertain to workers located in the United States. Pay is based on several factors including market location, and may vary depending on job related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
As Sr. Finance & Strategy Manager, Pricing & Packaging, you’ll …
Perform in-depth strategic and financial modeling to deeply understand impact of pricing & packaging and monetization decision, including but not limited to pricing structures, product & feature decisions, price points, usage & limits, etc
Partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, and GTM teams to evaluate implications and trade-offs to inform and align cross-functional and leadership stakeholders
Partner closely with Data & Data Science to implement rigorous analytical frameworks to evaluate impact to customer behaviors, product usage, business metrics, and short term and long term financial outcome
Perform external benchmarking, competitive research, and user research to inform pricing competitiveness and business strategy
Create high quality documentation and presentation of key analysis and communicate insights and recommendations with leadership and cross-functional partners
Partner closely with Strategic Finance to ensure pricing decisions are aligned with business strategy and financial plans, and timely incorporate key assumptions into the company’s forecast and planning models, and target-setting process.

About you
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
Have progressive experience in a fast-paced high-growth Technology business, preferably at an Enterprise Software or SaaS focused business, or Consulting, Investment Banking, VC/PE with a TMT, SaaS, and Pricing & Monetization focus.
Strong understanding and experience of SaaS metrics, SaaS Pricing, and Monetization Strategy
Strong understanding of Pricing frameworks and methodologies
Advanced Strategic and Financial modeling skills
Experience with or willingness to learn SQL & Tableau
Ability to translate analysis into digestible insights and takeaways for leadership & executive staff
Have a collaborative working style and demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with positivity and solution orientation
Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment with competing deadlines, and re-prioritize demands as events change.
Are a strategic thinker, self-starter, excellent communicator with strong intellectual curiosity, first principle thinking, attention to detail, diligence, and a learning and growth mindset
