The NVIDIA physical design group is seeking an outstanding Senior ASIC Physical Design (PD) Engineer to design and implement the world’s leading SoC's and GPU's. We have crafted a team of extraordinary people stretching around the globe, whose mission is to push the frontiers of what is possible today and define the platform for the future of computing.What you’ll be doing:As a key member of our PD team, you will be responsible for retiming (pipelining) design and in related areas of PD, on both the logic side and physical side for high-speed signals.With our internally-developed tools, flow and build environment, implement, debug, and deliver retiming design that is both functionally correct and physical design optimized.Collaborate with SOC design team and PD team to ensure smooth design implementation on schedule for all netlist landmarks.Improve our design methodology by working with methodology team to define/implement/verify new features and fixes.What we need to see:Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.2+ years of relevant work or research experienceFamiliarity with logic design in Verilog, with a good understanding of ASIC design flow including RTL design, logic synthesis, floorplanning, timing analysis, etcPossess strong analytical and debugging skills requiredCoding experience in Perl, Python, or other industry-standard scripting languagesStrong interpersonal skills and an excellent teammate, great at communicationNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
