We are now looking for a Manager of GPU/SOC Simulation Platforms!NVIDIA is seeking outstanding management candidates with a deep expertise in architecture functional and performance simulation to lead GPU, SOC simulator platforms and creation of next generation platforms that meet the needs of our rapidly growing scale of chips, systems, and application domains.What you’ll be doing:Own GPU/SOC/system level functional and performance simulation platformsBuild and deliver simulation platforms and application workloads as per requirements of GPU/SOC chip projectsDrive architecture validation and verification on fullchip functional and performance simulators.Define and deliver the roadmap for future capabilities and platforms working with product stakeholders and users of these simulators.Establish and track metrics for functional and performance simulators and drive continuous improvements in speed, accuracy, and productivity.Manage team/s that own the simulation platforms, mentor leads and team members towards their career aspirations.What we need to see:A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related relevant field (or equivalent experience)10+ years of relevant work experience in computer architecture including 5+ years of leadership/management experience.Strong programming skills in C++, System C. Ability to work hands on to prototype, evaluate new ideas and infrastructure improvements.Experience with functional simulation, virtual prototyping platformsExperience with performance modeling, workload generation, architecture simulation, profiling, and analysisKnowledge of industry state of the art and EDA tools for functional and performance modelingStrong background in GPU and/or SOC system architecturePrior experience with one or more of Computer Graphics, Deep Learning, GPU computing, and large scale systems is a major plusNVIDIA’s invention of the GPU 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing.
