NVIDIA is searching for a world-class researcher to join Nemo conversational AI research team. You will be conducting original research for speech AI applications, speech recognition, text-to-speech synthesis, speech procession and machine translation. You will be working with a team of world-class researchers, build new deep learning models for speech and NLP, scale them with large datasets and compute, and integrate your ideas into new AI products.Do you love the challenge of training deep learning models? If so, then join our team who designs large deep learning systems for speech and language processing.What you'll be doing:Develop new Deep Learning models for automatic speech recognition, speech synthesis, neural machine translation and natural languageDesign new large scale training algorithmOpen-source models using NeMo conversational AI frameworksMentor internsPublish research papers on top speech and NLP conferencesCollaborate with universities and other research teams.What we need to see:PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)Strong knowledge in Deep Learning for Natural Language Processing or Speech RecognitionAt least 5 years of research experience in speech recognition or NLPExcellent Python programming skillsExperience with PyTorch or TensorflowStrong publications record or contribution to open-source projectsWays to stand out from the crowd:C++/ CUDA knowledgeContribution to open-source projectsBeing reviewers for one of the top speech conferencesThe base salary range is $176,000 - $333,500.
