This compliance-focused role will be part of the Global Tax Team which reports to the Tax Manager in Razer Malaysia. You will be responsible for managing direct/indirect tax compliance and statutory reporting, with a focus on leading tax initiatives globally within Razer Services Business Units (Razer Gold and Razer Fintech). You will interface with the Management Team based globally and interact with various cross functional teams to implement global tax strategies. You thrive on autonomy, problem-solving, making an impact, and have a track record of executing in a fast-paced environment within a high-growth organization.Deliver quarterly income tax provisioning, assess valuation allowance considerations and uncertain tax positions.Manage tax audits and interactions with tax and governmental agencies throughout the region.Interface with multi-functional teams within the company as well as external tax advisors located throughout the region to implement tax strategies.Manage the entities’ transfer pricing policies and ensure compliance from a transfer pricing perspective. Performing cost calculations to ensure that the arm’s length rate is maintained within the group.Interface with local finance and operational teams to support the business in implementing new product rollouts and/or business arrangements, including evaluating and communicating the relevant tax implications to appropriate stakeholders.Actively monitor, communicate, and document the impact of changes in global tax laws to the Management Team, Business Units and implement changes in reporting/systems where required.Perform research and analysis on significant transactions in the region and maintain documented tax technical advice, updating the relevant stakeholders as appropriate.Manage ad hoc projects, including liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders regarding tax implications as well as technology implementations based on new tax registrations and/or new business arrangements.Pre-Requisites :A university graduate in accounting and finance and / or a member of a recognized body such as MIA, ACCA, CPA or advanced taxation qualification etc.5-8 years of relevant experience preferably in a tax function in a Big 4 firm and/or relevant tax experience in an MNCExperience with digital tax regulations a plusStrong technical knowledge in direct and indirect taxes as well as transfer pricing regulationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsIndependent, able to multi-task under high pressure and deliver on tight timelinesAre you game?
