As Program Manager, Buyer Experience, you will help develop and implement the strategy and initiatives towards improving the end-to-end buyer experience for our fast-growing Refurb and other focus areas for eBay. You will constantly look for opportunities to improve the buyer experience. The successful leader should excel in program management skills, with an inherent ability to build and manage internal partner engagement to drive high-impact initiatives. The ideal candidate should be capable of diving deep to clearly understand buyer difficulties and use a combination of outstanding thought leadership, analytical ability, business judgment, and critical thinking skills to identify and implement new initiatives that will enable our sellers meet buyer expectations and succeed in this space. You will strongly advocate on behalf of eBay buyers to influence both the business and program roadmap of your own and cross-functional teams. This is a highly cross-functional role, needing you to build and manage relations with multiple partners in order to prioritize and secure alignment on the top opportunities. You will support the management team in the achievement of corporate objectives, making eBay the go-to destination for refurbished and pre-owned products, for both buyers and sellers. This role is an individual contributor. You should also feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a very entrepreneurial environment.Key responsibilities:Dive deep into internal data to identify gaps and opportunity areas to improve the Buyer experience.Liaison with cross-functional teams like shipping, product, ads, marketing etc. to influence their roadmap and drive critical initiatives that will improve the buyer experience.Closely partner with eBay consumer insights team to understand buyer expectations and experience gaps.Help influence global product roadmap; Partner on buyer experience related projects and global rollout of products/features.Help develop and manage systems/tools to ensure consistent pricing across product conditions.Work with eBay partnership team to identify and onboard strategic partners to improve buyer experience.Interact with team members at multiple levels and dynamically influence teams to define and deliver solutions to establish product quality standards and processes.Identify and analyze data to isolate issues, develop solutions and prioritize opportunities.Create, maintain, and disseminate information to partners and senior management.Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas.Preferred Qualifications:3+ years of proven experience in program or product management, preferably in an online marketplace, digital platform, or retail environment. Startup experience valued.1+ years of experience working cross-functionally with product management, program management, customer service and analytics teams.Communication and presentation skills, inventive at communicating simply and effectively in large or small group settings and at various levels.Analytical and quantitative skills.Proven track record of taking ownership, data-driven decision making and getting results.Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail.Experience working in a consumer facing e-commerce or marketplace environment preferredBenefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
