The Opportunity:As the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program (DE&I) Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end project management of eBay’s DE&I strategy spanning our workforce, workplace, and marketplace pillars. You will report directly to eBay’s Global Head of DE&I. The role will be a key partner to eBay’s Communities of Inclusion (COIs) Program Manager, Internal and External Communications teams, The People Team, Workplace Resources, Marketplaces as well as Core Product & Technology – to name a few. You will also lead all aspects of all team processes, and operating rhythms to ensure that we are aligned with eBay’s global DE&I strategy. Your ability to be organized, flexible, detailed, fearless, and driven while being emotionally intelligent and inclusive of diverse perspectives is essential for success in this position.The Role:Strategic influencer and trusted thought partner to Global Head of DE&I as well as Director, DE&I, and ambassador for DE&I.Develop, design and support DEI programming for multiple partners and business units in service of DEI priorities and corresponding action plan, consulting with each to understand and customize actions to their unique needs and geographies.Manage weekly reporting and analysis process that share communications on progress to senior leadership and partners.Establish and proactively drive operational processes in order to deliver on DEI objectives; identifying risks and proposing solutions.Identify, form and maintain relations with external organizations and events in service of delivering DE&I strategy.Partner with the Community of Inclusion Program Manager to ensure alignment with overarching strategy.Lead partnership with External Communications team to design and execute individual marketing and communications strategies to drive adoption of DE&I programs & initiatives.Research and provide competitive insights related to DE&I news in the industry to key partners across eBay.Qualifications:Passion for eBay’s purpose driven nature.Demonstrated success in leading and implementing comprehensive enterprise-wide DEI strategies in a highly matrixed global organization.Strong communication in driving conversations and updates among varied audiences including leadership.Excellent problem solving skills, creative thinking and the ability to articulate a vision and operational priorities cross-functionally.Project management experience in navigating multiple work streams of a strategy in a global context. Strong organizational skills, program delivery and program management experience.Experience working with DEI vendors and managing vendor relationships.Ability to thrive in an environment of ambiguity, constant change and early process development.Experience working with project management tools; Expectation of flexibility to adapt to new tools.Project/Program Management Certification a plus.4+ years of programmatic DE&I experience.7+ years of professional experience in a fast fast-paced and vibrant environmentBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.Don’t meet every single requirement?
