This role will envision and design best-in-class user experiences for the world’s largest online marketplace with over 100 million shoppers and 25+ million sellers.Who we’re looking for:You’re an expert designer who is able to lead multiple projects at a time. You’re well known for your vision and high-quality execution, and everyone on the team looks to you for your long-term thinking.Who you’ll work with:The Listing Design Team is responsible for the UX and design of all listing experiences within eBay’s core app. You’ll work closely with partners across Design, Research, Content, Product, Engineering, and Design Systems to define the end-to-end listing experience for sellers small and large. As a key member of this team, you’ll report into the Design Manager.Responsibilities:Create world-class, user-centered designs incorporating business requirements, product learnings, and customer feedbackDevelop incredibly polished conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups and prototypesOwn large projects that require multiple levels of coordinationParticipate in user research, testing and product discoveryCommunicate design work and negotiate future direction with peers, researchers, design leaders, product partners and executivesSpeak openly about UCD solutions, understand business requirements and be technical enough to work closely with developersRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in design, UX/UI design, Interaction Design, human-computer interaction or related field with 8+ years of relevant experienceAbility to simplify the complex by delivering high-quality, end-to-end design solutions that are intuitive and easy to useExperience in design research, including competitive and landscape analysis, pattern research, qualitative interviews, and crafting insights from observation.Specialist in designing across multiple devices from mobile, tablet, and desktopExperience working with product managers and developers to deliver great experiencesExpert in design and prototyping tools like Figma and Keynote with an eye for visual detail and craftsmanshipBenefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
