If so, we’d love to talk to you.Within eBay’s Global Media team, the Performance Marketing team is responsible for acquiring and retaining buyers and sellers, owning affiliate partnerships, display & social, influencer programs and paid search. Through these platforms and programs, we play a key role in delivering compelling and inspiring marketing experiences to win the hearts and minds of our customers, through best-in-class in-house teams and trusted agency and media partners.The Global Media team is looking for a Director, Performance Marketing to lead our Display, Social, Influencer channels, and manage our media partnerships.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for in-house Display, Paid Social, Influencer channel and hands to keyboard media buying teams. Management and oversight of paid Display & YouTube and major Social Partner strategy and activities aimed at driving growth, efficiency, and full funnel media optimization, focused on priority categories. Remit includes driving testing diversified ad solutions within and between major media partners (e.g. YouTube, Yahoo, Criteo, Google, Meta, Pinterest and TikTok among others), funnel optimization strategy and execution, attribution modeling, incrementality testing, full funnel measurement refinement and identifying & developing audience strategies and tactics for effective advertising spend.Manage Partnerships of key external partners and agencies and internal cross-functional efforts. Key areas of ownership include establishing and driving development of strategic traffic partner foundations in areas of data sharing evaluations, partnership governance and negotiations (joint business plans/contracts/RFPs) and ways of working, innovation/new formats' evaluation for full funnel growth.Responsible for Marketing Foundations and Enablement i.e. Measurement, Reporting and Compliance tools and ways of working that enhance existing and net-new capabilities (in-house or external) for full funnel marketing enablement. Work across all channel teams, Product, Finance, Procurement, Analytics, and legal or Privacy.QualificationsBS required12+ years in programmatic performance marketing in a strategy, marketing or product management environmentSkilled in owning performance diagnostics including reviewing campaign performance and key insights (i.e., metrics communicated, critical metrics, etc). The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
