You will also act as the Chief of Staff to the Vice President of CS Tech, providing strategic support on key initiatives and projects as well as day to day operations of the organization. The successful candidate will have a high level of responsibility and autonomy and will require a high level of critical thinking, leadership, process optimization and organizational skills. You will also need to develop a deep understanding of the CS Tech team's operations and goals and be able to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive and track the team's success. This individual contributor role will report directly to the VP of CS Tech and be a member of the CS Tech Leadership Team.Key Responsibilities:Technology Strategy & OptimizationDevelop and implement a strategic plan for CS Tech, aligning with the overall company goals and objectivesDrive the processes around identifying and evaluating new technologies and tools to solve business problems and improve performanceAnalyze and optimize current organization processes and cadences to increase efficiency and effectivenessLead cross-functional teams to implement critical initiatives and projectCollaborate with other teams and organizations to ensure alignment, prioritization, and integration of technology strategiesResearch and stay current on industry trends and standard processes, and partner with the CS Tech Leadership Team to incorporate them into the strategyCommunicate technology strategy, plans, and progress to internal and external partnersOutcome based results, monitor OKR’s and Budget to assess performance and discover optimization opportunitiesConduct research on related technologies based on business strategy using quantitative and qualitative measures.Chief of StaffAct as the primary liaison between the CS Tech team and other teams, providing strategic guidance and supportCoordinate and manage the team's operations and resources, including budget, staff, and equipmentFacilitate communication and collaboration across the CS Tech team and other departmentsProvide oversight and tracking for key initiatives and projects, ensuring that key initiatives and projects are completed on time and within budgetIdentify and mitigate risks to the team's operations and goalsDevelop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the technology teamRepresent the CS Tech team in internal and external meetings and discussionsEncourage and support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the technology teamCollaborate with the People Experience team to develop and implement employee engagement programs and initiativesMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement strategies and adjust as necessaryJob Requirements & QualificationsExperience in Management Consulting, Strategy, Business Operations, or a similar strategic functionCapable of flexing between high level strategic concepts & frameworks to tactical operational implementationProven experience with Process Optimization methods (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, TPS, etc.)Ability to strategically structure and use frameworks to break down complex problems into clear steps and plansProven track record of developing and implementing effective technology strategies and telling the story.Strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies relevant to customer serviceEntrepreneurial self-starter with a bias towards action who can thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environmentExcellent facilitation skills with proven experience driving different viewpoints to alignmentHigh EQ skills and ability to communicate clearly with all different types of peopleDetailed and organized with ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projectsExceptional follow through and high level of accountabilityGreat teammateInspiring leader who inspires those around them to challenge the status quoWell-honed influencing skills; ability to negotiate and gain consensus between organizations and teams where competing priorities existCurious and creative, able to push boundaries, ask “why?” and “why not?”, and is tenacious with problem-solving skills.Previous experience in a Chief of Staff roleMBA a plusBenefits:Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
