Bring your ideas, energy, and dedication to the team and solve challenging real-world problems!ResponsibilitiesAs the Senior Data Scientist of eBay's Recommender Team, you will oversee the development and implementation of recommender systems from general model architecture to the entire model life cycle. You will collaborate closely with the Customer Marketing Product organization to build the next generation of recommenders that will power customer communication across various channels including email, push notifications, and the core site and app experiences. As a team leader of three scientists with diverse backgrounds, you will serve as the technical point of contact and provide guidance and solutions to the team. Additionally, you will establish effective communication between data/software engineering teams and the science team to drive the advancement of science infrastructure and processes. With a focus on innovation, you will actively explore new solutions to address eBay's biggest challenges in recommendations, incorporating the latest research and technologies. A culture of "build fast and fail fast" will be cultivated under your leadership. You will be actively involved, throughout the entire product life cycle – from ideation and design through development, and testing to final deployment and implementation.
