The successful candidate will be responsible for working company-wide to help craft GraphQL Federation subgraphs, establish and detail standard methodologies, automate subgraph enrollment workflows, and lead and participate in Spring Boot microservice implementations.Roles/Responsibilities:Lead the efforts on eBay's implementation of a robust GraphQL subgraph network using a mix of Apollo Federation 1 and 2 subgraphs. Collaborate with other architects, developers, and product managers to define API specifications and requirements. Develop and maintain GraphQL schema definitions, resolvers, and directives. Establish standard processes around GraphQL usage across the company, including solutions which allow for a fast delivery with incremental progress on quality, using Agile design principles. Strong advocate for code design quality and performance. Design solutions to automate and scale GraphQL Federation adoption for hundreds of services.
