The role will be primarily focused on designing and developing service oriented applications. We need someone who is tech savvy and keeps themselves up to date with the newest technology. This role also is an expert in automation and is responsible to improve the automation framework and develop the development and testing tools. As the quality expert, this role will manage the team’s overall quality by driving the automation effectiveness and stability, leading integration testing and end2end testing to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. It’s essential you have strong automation experiences with SOA, SOAP web services, Restful APIs, and messaging solutions. You will succeed in this role if you are ambitious, produce high quality work and are a strong communicator in addition to being comfortable working in a matrix-ed environment, collaborating across globally distributed teams.Responsibilities:Participate in technical design and implementation to support company’s business and technical initiatives.Responsible of software design, user documentation, code review.Develop, maintain and enhance the automation framework with industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.Coordinate release activities with teams and drive the CI/CD of release with pipelines.Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and cases for End to End testing and Load & Performance testingContinuously improve test automation practices and processes to increase efficiency and effectivenessRequirementsBS, MS in Computer Science, CS, EE, or related field and 5+ years preferred experience in software automation or software developmentExpertise required in object-oriented design methodology and application development in Java and J2EE, including Spring, Hibernate, servlets, JDBC, XML, XSLValidated experience in developing web services and RESTful APIs / micro servicesExperience with automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, TestNG, Junit, JMeter, etcExperience with database and SQL, preferably OracleFamiliar with Agile/Scrum software development methodologiesDomain expertise in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: APIs (Public or Private), Contact Management (cases, routing, and blending), Web Application especially servicing large customer base, System Integration and Packaged Software Implementation.Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
