The successful candidate is a strong advisor with an unquestionable personal code of ethic, integrity and trust. The role requires a strategic problem solver who has an eye for detail, provides clarity on progress proactively highlighting blockers, boldly prioritizes, is organized, and can balance and deliver multiple projects simultaneously with varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. The role will report directly to the Senior Director of Internal Audit and support not only the full IA team (which includes Internal Audit, SOX and Enterprise Risk Management) but also the Chief Audit Executive.ResponsibilitiesSupport the CAE with planning, scheduling, delivering special projects, creating key deliverables, and performing quality assurance reviews on executive level deliverables including audit reports and board level materials.Run financial budget allocation and prioritization of third party spend including consultant onboarding and oversight for the department. This includes partnering with the procurement, legal and Information Security functions to ensure proper contracting with vendors and contractors (contracts, statements of work, amendments, privacy addendums, etc.).Responsible for onboarding vendors and contractors, providing appropriate access to required tools and technology; actively engaged in oversight and able to resolve access issues timely.Responsible for the department’s third-party vendor risk management and vendor risk assessments.Partner with the department’s financial analyst, to ensure financial accuracy of the IA function, including forecasting, POs, invoice approvals and monthly accruals.Produce key organization programming/deliverables including all-hands materials, educational events, and team recognition. Build content for various executive-level reporting including reports to the Executive Leadership Team and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.Champion a cohesive environment by running full organizational initiatives including all hands meetings, special projects, employee engagement projects while aligning with IA, SOX and ERM leads on content.Understand team engagement to generate new special projects to further enable and empower the team.Responsible for Audit Board, SharePoint administration and other tools supporting the Internal Audit team, including reporting, business continuity and data retention and deletion.Responsible for the Internal Audit training program, including updating and standardizing IA, SOX and ERM handbooks, team skills assessments and training (technical and soft skills), team workshops and training on internal IA tools.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree required.10+ years of industry experience including relevant experience in operations or program management functions in an eCommerce/retail industry.Skilled in running financial operations and reporting, experience handling contracts and leading department budgeting processes.Self-directed and hands-on approach, with ability to initiate new efforts independently and make trade-offs against critical project timelines and priorities.A natural communicator, with an ability to deliver difficult or complex messages and a consistent history of effective communication at an executive level.Builds a strong internal and external network of personal relationships to identify issues and opportunities and provides constructive perspectives to others. Values inclusion and open to new points of view when developing solutions.Significant knowledge of audit, ERM and SOX processes preferred.SEC reporting background a plus.Proven experience and strong competency in project management and team leadership skills.
