The team will work closely with the applied research scientists to create new experiences that delight our customers.About the Role:The team will build the camera platform in our native application to provide the interactive visual experiences to our consumers, in line with what they encounter in other verticals outside of e-commerce. This brings the camera capability using the eBay mobile applications into the critical path to deploy immersive visual camera-led experiences. The Camera Platform is designed to meet the demand for interactive, highly engaging visual experiences that are real-time and interactive.Job Requirements:Proven experience in designing, building, refactoring and releasing native apps.Function as a lead for projects in addition to mentoring and leading team engineers.Defining requirements and capabilities for projects and assessing resources needed.Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate with leadership level and team level.IC level hands on role and you would need to be comfortable developing native applications and platform with iOS and/or Android.Required Experience:Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams is desirableExperience developing native applications and platform with iOS and/or Android (Swift/Kotlin)Expertise with complex networking environments and how to optimize them for mobile applications is highly desirableExperience with TDD, pairing, code reviews, and other techniques to maintain high-quality code and resiliency.Benefits:Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
