We are seeking an expert lead engineer to architect and build the platform to power the Protections experiences.Job responsibilities:Work with a team of engineers, product managers and UX designers to define, own and implement the architecture of various products and systems.Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects to present a high-level design and implement prototypes.Act as a multiplier for organizational outcomes by identifying and building systems, processes, and tools, and advocating for them.Foresee design gaps in performance, security, reliability, maintainability, and proactively addresses them.Assist in the career development of others, actively mentoring individuals and helping managers guide the career growth of their team members.Exert technical influence over multiple teams, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience.Be up to date with the latest in the industry and apply those to internal architecture in the areas of mobile, web and large-scale data processing applications.Collaborate effectively with engineering teams and architects across multiple domains, to come up with right system integrations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent experience.12+ years of relevant engineering experience leading the delivery of rich customer experiences, services and large-scale distributed systems.Deep understanding of the common software design patterns.Experience building the platform for customer facing products across web and native apps.Expertise in web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, GraphQL, REST), distributed systems, and large scale data processing.Extensive experience in Object oriented design and programming languages like Java.Experience mentoring/training a broad engineering community on sophisticated technical issues.Strong customer focus, excellent communication and relationship building skills.Strong advocacy of engineering velocity, continuous delivery, and software quality across the software development life-cycle.#LI-BB1Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
