This is an exciting opportunity to help build the next generation of product capabilities and platform for eBay’s marketing organization. You will be responsible for the creation and execution of systems, algorithms and models to optimize marketing spending, pricing, targeting, and customer behavior. This role provides a right mix of product development, operational responsibilities and strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong product sense and a proven track record of launching successful products. The ideal candidate will also have experience in display advertising, social advertising, and preferably video advertising. This is a highly visible role within the organization and has an opportunity to influence how eBay runs its performance marketing channels.Responsibilities:Develop clear and compelling product requirements (PRDs) / user stories for new initiatives and existing product enhancements, including business justification, revenue potential, and operational impactConduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and improve existing productsWork closely with the engineering team to ensure that products are developed on time, within budget, and to the desired qualityAnalyze product metrics and use data to inform product decisions and strategy.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to display advertising, social advertising, and video advertisingDevelop analytical insights through assumption testing and sensitivity analysis and perform data analysis and basic financial modeling to support business case developmentPrepare data in support of analytics, and assist with delivery of comprehensive analytics projects on marketing optimization and iteration of algorithmQualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of launching successful productsStrong product sense and ability to identify market opportunitiesAbility to prioritize and delivery on multiple threads of work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsSignificant experience in display & video advertising technology and social media advertising highly desiredBenefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
