For more information about the company and its global portfolio of online brands, visit www.ebayinc.com.The OpportunityThe Senior Manager of Business Operations, Central Strategic Planning & Execution, will play a critical role in telling stories to drive and support company level strategic planning at eBay under the Business Operations organization. The Business Operations organization serves as the connective tissue of eBay, to drive cross-functional alignment and enable execution, operational effectiveness and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive critical Strategic Planning processes that require excellent storytelling such as: Strategy documents, Board of Director support, eBay key launchs roadmap, Initiative Business Case documents, etc.Support change management efforts across the organization to build stronger collaboration and connection across planning teams.Own the operating model around company level initiatives, which are our most important initiatives / investments. Operating model includes regular cadence of executive reviews, creating and owning reporting templates, working with initiative owners on metrics and status updates. In addition, lead the eBay initiative yearly offsite, responsible for landing the critical work that will drive significant growth for eBay.Problem solve through discovery of Planning & Execution inefficiencies.Facilitate & drive communications across teams during the planning process and support written and verbal communications with leadershipDrive the creation of central planning based tools, as needed (i.e. project charters, project plans, etc)Support Business Operations Partner activities, as needed.RequirementsExperience in Management Consulting and/or Business Operations. Experience in eCommerce or Technology space a plusHigh EQ skills and ability to communicate clearly with all different types of levelsProven experience driving strategic cross-functional projects and deliverablesComfortable with high level strategic concepts & and driving frameworks for tactical operational implementationAbility to strategically structure and use frameworks to break down complex problems into clear steps and plansEntrepreneurial self-starter with a bias towards action who can thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environmentDetailed oriented and organized with ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projectsExceptional follow through and high level of accountabilityStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsMBA a plus#LI-MH1Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
