You’ll be working with a world class team of engineers, designers, product managers, and analysts to create great products that make a difference on one of the world’s most trafficked and loved websites. Our technology stack includes Node.JS front end app, Java/Scala/GraphQL based back-end with native iOS and Android applications.Team Role:The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of backend development experience working with high velocity teams. We only want to work with the best, and we’d love for you to join us.Responsibilities:Developing and implementing the next generation of the Saves & Gadget platformsBuild core components of MyeBay such as Save Search and Save Seller to support new featuresDevelop the methodology and systems to auto-manage Saves and Gadget Apps with health monitoring, alerting, and auto-remediationProduce high quality and well-documented codeProduce high quality software designs to support long-term maintainability and extensibilityRequirementsBachelor’s degree and 8+ years (or) a MS in Computer Science and 5+ years of software design and relevant experienceExceptional programming skills in Java, Scala, Java ScriptExperience working with Spring, Node.js, CSS3 & HTMLExperience building and consuming horizontally scalable RESTful API’sExperience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Flink, and Kafka is a plusExperience with scrum or other agile software development methodologyAbility to write reusable and maintainable code#LI-AH2eBay Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
