Our Ways of Working
We’re a remote-first company with team members located across the United States spanning multiple time zones. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees so people can get the work done in the way that suits them best. With rare exception, our employees generally work 9-5 in their home time zone.
We also know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to build community and collaboration, we gather in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. These offsites are expected of employees and are great opportunities to meet the people you work with every day and to do some of the work that is much more difficult to do virtually.
What the Role Is
Babylist is looking for an Associate Branded Content Editor to support our rapidly growing Branded Partnerships content team. The ideal candidate is a creative, adaptable writer who is passionate about creating best-in-class sponsored content that helps expecting and new parents make decisions and helps clients achieve their goals.
This role will report to the Branded Content Editor and work closely with the Partnerships and Marketing teams.
Who You Are
You have 2+ years of experience writing, either branded content or editorial
You have a proven track record of writing quickly, gracefully and accurately
You are an expert at adapting to brand voice
You pay great attention to grammar and details
You’re extremely user-centric and passionate about delivering the best brand experiences to customers
You can expertly juggle and meet multiple deadlines and know how to prioritize competing tasks
You welcome feedback and take requested client changes in stride, but are also able to finesse pushback to preserve the user experience when necessary
You have interest and experience in baby gear and parenting
You have an interest in TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
How You'll Make an Impact
Write branded content copy, including sponsored articles, emails, social and editorial placements, video scripts and more
Create successful branded content that supports partner goals while resonating with the Babylist audience
Brainstorm with the Branded Content Editor on pre-pitches to clients
Use data to identify new custom content opportunities and iterate on your ideas with real-world feedback
Maintain Babylist brand integrity in all copy and market work
Provide other copy assistance for Babylist as needed
Collaborate with editorial, marketing, partnerships and account management to drive branded content campaigns, processes and workflows to success

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area.
A wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. Exact starting pay will be determined based on skills and experience as well as location. We hold two compensation reviews annually to review pay for performance and market and run an equity analysis to ensure our pay practices are fair and unbiased.
A reasonable estimate for the current range :
Zone 1 - $77,000-$109,000
Zone 2 - $70,000-$99,000
Zone 3 - $65,000-$93,000
These ranges may be modified in the future.
