MINT MOBILE is seeking a talented Temporary Social Content Creator & Coordinator  to join the Marketing team in Costa Mesa, CA! Individual reports to Social Media Manager. Role is hybrid. This is a temporary 3 month position with the possibility of converting to full time.  This role is a hybrid opportunity that requires a local commutable distance to the HQ Costa Mesa, CA office as needed. ABOUT THE ROLE Your usual day of awesomeness includes:   Assist the Social Media Team with development of social media engagement tactics and execution of social media strategy to help grow Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile’s followers, engagement, and traffic to our website. Always pushing the brands to continuously ideate and innovate in the social space. Work closely with Social Media Coordinator to assist with posting/scheduling of our social media content. Assist with the design of social media images/graphics including adhoc creative development as needed (examples: creating TikToks, text overlays on content, etc.) Manage day-to-day community engagement, reactive & proactive, to spark deeper connection and conversations on behalf of the brands to drive awareness. Monitor, listen, and respond to users across social media platforms to enhance the customer experience and garner positive brand sentiment. Lead the areas of Social Media that cross-pollinate with copy: content calendar captions and community management responses. Collect user generated content as needed. Get acquainted with social media management platforms and analytics, in order to extrapolate and inform future tactics and strategies. Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas.  Monitor incoming app and review platform reviews.  Support the Social Media Manager in executing influencer marketing campaigns, as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU BRING Positive attitude and eagerness to learn. Ability to work 20+ hours per week. Team player who shows passion in their work. Critical thinker who can work independently. Highly organized and skilled at managing multiple projects at once. Copywriting skills and ability to master each individual brand voice to make quick decisions/responses. Creative editing skills and not afraid of being in front of the camera for content creation - ability to record and edit content at home. A risk-taker to try new tactics and strategies on social media to drive engagement. A deep interest in pursuing a career in social media marketing. Impeccable oral and written communication skills. Experience with social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and BeReal. Strong understanding of social media best practices, emerging technologies, new content offerings and platform capabilities. Knowledge of social media analytics, such as Facebook Insights, to track audience engagement and campaign performance. Experience with image/video editing software/platforms like Canva.
