We’re in growth mode and looking to add a dynamic Senior Software Engineer to our PayNearMe team. This position will report to the Engineering Manager. As a Senior Software Engineer on our platform team, you will have significant responsibility, owning code that moves billions of dollars. What you’ll own and be responsible for: Identify areas of improvement in our frameworks, tools, processes and strive to make them better Solve technical problems that are complex, producing high quality code in a timely manner that is unit tested and code reviewed Define, design and implement code for processing transactions at point of sale and via the ACH network Expertise in REST-APIs Mentor engineers and work closely with QA in order to help them grow in their technical responsibilities Handle day to day escalations and resolve them
