Business Intelligence, Data Science Intern

You will help the Business Intelligence team provide self-service analytics, support building machine learning models and key metric reporting to key stakeholder organizations at Smartsheet, including but not limited to Finance, Product, Marketing, and Sales. You will work with a BI Partner from these organizations to help analyze data, build visualizations and update existing reports/dashboards to help improve how we deliver analytics. This is a remote internship at Smartsheet, based in the USA. You will report to a Manager for 10-12 weeks over the summer months. The rate of pay for this role is $30.00 hourly. You Will: Work with Data Analysts/Data Scientists on the BI team and learn how they work with partner teams to provide essential analytics. Learn the Smartsheet culture, business model and how teams provide value to customers. Mine large datasets to help develop actionable insights. Assist the BI team with data visualizations, ML Model development and self-serve processes. Answer business questions through data analysis and present discoveries to the BI team. You Have: Pick up new concepts quickly. Curiously and problem solving skills. Experience analyzing data (within a business environment is a plus). Experience performing analysis using SQL (Hand-on Python experience is a plus).
