Executive Assistant to CBO
The Role
We are looking to hire a dynamic, polished and ambitious Executive Assistant to provide high-level, strategic support to our Chief Business Officer through a period of accelerated growth and an increasingly public profile. The CBO oversees all of our Sales, Marketing and Partnerships functions and is our most customer-facing executive, so this role will be uniquely focused on acting as a liaison to key customers, prospects and partners with poise, excellent communication skills, tact and professionalism in the face of pressure. Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day support to the CBO and his direct reports
Effectively manage a heavy, complex calendar, and all communication related to meetings, conference calls, invitations, events, board and investor engagements, interviews, and media appearances, and keep the CBO on time and prepared for all obligations throughout the day
Manage heavy and quick-changing travel, including having a bigger-picture eye for optimizing travel plans to engage other local prospects, customers and partners in region
Respond to myriad meeting requests that require frequent re-prioritization, and collaborate effectively with other EAs
Plan and schedule org-wide internal events, kick offs, and meetings (150+ people) and smaller events for leadership team, with creativity and an eye for optimizing the ROI of interactions and travel spend
Communicate changes and information to other parties courteously and effectively
Assist in preparing and managing presentations and proposals and gathering data
Provide data-driven recommendations related to projects and initiatives that you are asked to be a part of over time
Conserve the CBO’s time by reading, researching and routing correspondence effectively
Support the planning and execution of customer, prospect, and partner meetings both locally and remotely, including location scoping, agenda planning, food, beverage, transportation and activity coordination
Provide support on unique business development initiatives, including researching and organizing prospects for the CBO to build connections with utilizing LinkedIn and Salesforce
Process expense reports and invoices as needed
Be responsive to emails and phone calls, including correspondence and support outside of normal business hours as needed
Always use discretion, confidentiality and good judgment to handle matters
Balance maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the CBO, while also maintaining approachability and empathy in your interactions with others
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of increasing Executive Support experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented tech company, with 2+ at the VP level or above
Impeccable organization and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build and maintain strong rapport with executives and colleagues
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload effectively
High level of proficiency in G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) and Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
Sound independent judgment and problem solving skills
Highly self-motivated and dependable work ethic
Ability to work well and maintain composure under pressure
Combination of both startup and large technology company experience is a major plus

Our posted job may span more than one career level, and offered level and salary will be determined by the applicant’s specific experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. USA Base Salary Pay Range $93,500 — $149,500 USD
