About the Role  The Director of Product at Sibros will be responsible for realizing the full potential of the Sibros product suite and ensure customers are at the front and center of our product roadmap and thought process. They will have a chance to deliver beautiful and highly functional solutions to our customer's problems. They will work closely with the executive leadership team and play an important cross-functional role in bringing together customers, engineering, marketing, sales, and product delivery teams. This is one of the most highly coveted and exciting high-impact roles at Sibros. It will require managing a global team and global customer deployments, while solving highly challenging, ambiguous and undefined problems. The ideal candidate will have a solid product management background and be driven by empathy both for the customer and the engineering team executing on the roadmap..They should have proven ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and be willing to roll up their sleeves, build the team from scratch, and scale the product organization.  They should be very charismatic, dynamic and be able to set up an excellent product management process. They should have a strong engineering background as well as a background in user interface and user experience design. They will serve as the final approver for new products and product features, ensuring that they meet the highest aesthetic and functional standards expected of Sibros products. The Director of Product responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Will own and spearhead the development of breakthrough ideas, solutions, and products that are not only innovative and cutting-edge, but also capture the imagination of customers and disrupt the market Identify significant opportunities and drive product vision, strategies, and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals of Sibros Guide customers and partners with technical insights to provide the Sibros Deep Connected Platform offerings and implementation guidance Own the product roadmap and product development process and communicate with internal and external stakeholders Develop and execute on plans to introduce new end-to-end products and solutions Define and execute the product strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Product Delivery, among others Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities Manage, lead, and mentor a team of Product Managers and related personnel Lead the growth of Sibros' product team by identifying and hiring exceptional talent Have the ability to think outside the box and identify opportunities where others see obstacles Minimum Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor's in Engineering is required; Master's degree in Engineering is preferred Required to work in the San Jose, CA office 4-5 days a week, and travel as needed At least 8 years of experience in product management, with a few years of experience in a leadership role as a product leader Growth mindset and be willing to adopt new technologies Prior experience working with SaaS, IoT, and Cloud technologies Experience working in early-stage and/or start-up environments Demonstrated successful track record in product planning, defining, and launching successful products, and unifying product portfolios Recent hands-on experience with product development such as writing product requirement documents (PRDs) Possess exceptional communication skills and empathy to lead the internal product team and collaborate with other departments Charismatic and engaging personality with an innate ability to interact with, and connect with customers positively and professionally Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and familiarity with Embedded Systems, Automotive technology, and Connectivity Background in design, with experience in managing front-end work and managing front-end development independently Additional Information The US base salary range for this full-time position is $220,000 - $255,000 + equity + benefits.  Our salary ranges are determined by role and level.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, benefits, or any discretionary bonus components. #LI-LC1 Equal Employment Opportunity Sibros is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
