About the job We are expanding internationally and looking for a Flex Customer Engagement Sales Director to be based in Spain. This person will lead Twilio’s Flex business in the Rest of Europe region (Iberia, Italy, France, CEE, Middle East and Africa). Your main responsibilities will be to accelerate Twilio´s Flex growth in the region, build the best team and increase the awareness in the market. Additional responsibilities will include the execution of GTM strategies in the region in close collaboration with marketing, product management, SDR, solution engineering and partner teams (Quota carrying).     You’ll play an important role in the EMEA team and you will be involved in developing the strategy for the team and executing on this plan. This is a full-time people management role, but you will be expected to lead by example.    Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: Be an evangelist for the company's vision and values across the board, including presenting at conferences and events   Establish strong working relationships with various cross-functional leadership roles and partners to ensure an aligned and effective overall go-to-market strategy Develop actionable insights, with a test and learn approach to new initiatives Implement local market plans and sales strategies to meet sales objectives Provide ongoing reporting and forecasting for your territory Build relationships with decision makers and key influencers across multiple industries Lead, manage and inspire a cross-cultural team of a range of roles Identify, recruit and onboard top talent, continuously providing coaching and best-in-class development support for your employees Coordinate, contribute to and participate in internal and external events.  Work with Marketing and Demand Gen teams to grow the pipeline. Take ownership; operate autonomously; and demonstrate a strong bias for action. Qualifications  Not all applicants will have skills that match a job description exactly. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!   Required: The ideal candidate has deep knowledge and expertise with demonstrated success in leading / selling SaaS B2B solutions in the customer engagement industry for at least 8+ years. Customer experience knowledge. Hunting profile and new customer acquisition obsessed.   Coaching experience and a genuine interest in people leadership. Be a motivator, a person who makes things happen with an attitude that reflects positivity and perseverance so you can lead by example. World-class interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. You have the ability to effortlessly make complex contractual, technical, and financial details simple. Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects/deals simultaneously. Consistent track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.  Experience driving complex sales cycles with numerous stakeholders. Ownership mentality Mandatory fluency in English and Spanish.  Desired: Previous experience working in contact center vendors.  Previous experience in marketing, sales development or partners.  Previous experience evangelizing innovative, transformative products that are newly entering the marketplace.  Previous experience with Salesforce.com and CPQ sales tools.   Location  This role will be remote, and based in SPAIN.
