Senior Inventory Associate - Warehouse

Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.  As an Inventory Warehouse Associate, you are responsible for warehouse maintenance associated to inventory accuracy, material relocation, and material movement error resolution. In addition, you will participate in material handling including inbound, outbound, inventory, and repackaging activities. You will foster a safe working environment, maintain organized cleanliness, and provide feedback on improvement opportunities.   WHAT YOU WILL DO:  Perform cycle counts and help root cause any identified gaps Relocate material based on part characteristics, demand changes, safety concern, and consolidation needs Update material masters in SAP EWM Perform basic warehouse management transactions in SAP EWM Initiate root cause analysis on shipping and receiving exceptions Ensure materials are stored in a safe manner Load and unload delivery vehicles Provide input into safety, quality, and throughput opportunities  Understand and utilize standard work Support general material handling request from leadership and team members Participate in group efforts to foster an environment based on continuous improvement THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL NEED:   Be a Team player Good communication skills with ability to speak in English Previous forklift experience preferred Prior experience in a warehouse environment Basic computer skills with working knowledge in Microsoft Officeand/or any ERP system High School diploma or an equivalent education experience Ability to stand multiple hours per day Ability to lift up to 15 kg     Equal Opportunity Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
