We are seeking an  Engineering Manager to lead our mobile development team and drive our mobile development process. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and extensive experience building scalable systems. The candidate must be willing to lead by example at both strategic and tactical levels.
This is a remote position with a Pacific time zone work schedule.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the mobile app development team, collaborating with engineering managers and engineers in both the US and Korea
Drive the roadmap and priorities for the team
Manage the mobile development and release processes, ensuring the stability of mobile apps
Grow and develop the team through hiring, coaching, and team leadership
Work effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes
Basic qualifications
8+ years of total software development experience
2+ years of experience leading teams of engineers across all levels
4+ years of hands-on experience in iOS or Android development
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
The ability to roll up sleeves and lead by example at both strategic and tactical levels
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Experience building and shipping consumer-facing products
Blind's target cash compensation salary range for this role in the US is $180,000.00 - $210,000.00 USD per year, and in Canada $180,000.00 - $210,000.00 CAD per year. This salary range includes compensation for multiple job levels. Your job level will be based on an assessment of your interview performance and experience, which you can always ask about to understand in more detail. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors. Salary is just one component of our total rewards package for employees at Blind.
