Smartsheet is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our EMEA team. This role will have a focus on our Brandfolder product serving our Digital Asset Management (DAM) line of business. You will be the primary technical lead on DAM focused PreSales opportunities. We’re looking for someone who asks the right questions, has a solutions-based mindset, demonstrates creative curiosity, challenges the status quo, and makes us a better, smarter company.  What You'll Do Support our Sales team in winning new business as a strategic and technical resource throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to close Participate in sales meetings as a technical and product expert, overcoming technical objections to achieve the "technical win" with prospects Partner with Account Executives to qualify leads, gather requirements, and validate opportunities  Know the product inside and out and deliver solutions demonstrations to prospective customers; you will be a top demo resource at the company Use technical, product, and subject matter expertise to build and deliver product demonstrations tailored to prospects' requirements and goals Understand and empathize with various customer pain-points and use cases by vertical and job function, parlaying your knowledge into personalized solutions Keep a pulse on the competitive landscape, understanding product gaps and articulating differentiators Act as a PreSales liaison to Professional Services, Customer Experience, Product, and Marketing Transition new customers to Implementation Team while providing technical support during onboarding process Assist with responses to RFPs and Security Assessments, owning product, technical, and security portions Identify and communicate best practices across Sales Reps, segments, and sales cycles to continually optimize our sales process   Own and collaborate on side projects that positively impact the business and that align with your region’s PreSales team initiatives  Participate in events and speak at sessions as a thought leader in the space What You'll Need 2+ years of B2B Mid-Market and/or Enterprise SaaS Solutions/Sales Engineer (or equivalent PreSales function) experience Strong grasp of technical components of cloud SaaS products and integrations (APIs, cloud storage, app modernization, security)  Understanding of all components and stages of SaaS sales process Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills - ability to empathize with others’ goals and adapt style based on audience Bias toward action and intellectual curiosity  Ability to learn quickly to become a product expert for the Brandfolder platform Client management skills, interfacing with both prospects and customers to help them achieve their goals The drive to own high-impact projects from day one Bonus Points For Previous experience working with the Brandfolder platform DAM, MAM, ECM, WCM, CMS, CWM, PIM experience Experience selling to marketers and/or creatives Knowledge of a typical business’s marketing challenges and martech stack Adobe Creative Cloud and/or technical creative workflow familiarity Technical depth in APIs, web app architecture, cloud computing, security Track record of leading presentations and influencing revenue Perks & Benefits: Employer-paid Private Medical and Dental, additional cost for family members Lucrative Employee Stock Purchase Program (15% discount) Monthly contributions toward your pension Monthly stipend to support your work and productivity 25 days paid for Holiday + Bank Holidays + Flexible Time Away Program 20 weeks fully paid Maternity Leave 12 weeks fully paid Paternity/Adoption Leave Personal paid Volunteer Day to support our community Opportunities for professional growth and development including access to LinkedIn Learning online courses Company Funded Perks including a counseling membership, salary sacrifice options and your own personal Smartsheet account.
