IT Systems Engineer I - Remote

MINT MOBILE is seeking a talented IT Systems Engineer I  to join the Tech Ops team! Individual reports to Manager Engineering, Info Tech. Role is remote -  must reside in the United States. ABOUT THE ROLE As IT Systems Engineer I , you have the mind of an engineer and the soul of a systems administrator. You are the guardian angel of our systems infrastructure. A sounding board for the IT Director, you have no trouble communicating your take on problems that arise. Enterprise and network administration are in your DNA, and you have the blood test to prove it. (Or maybe just the experience. That works, too.) Your usual day of awesomeness includes:   Oversee development and maintenance of infrastructure systems. VMware ESX/ESXi, AWS/Cloud administration and support. Create documentation and diagrams of systems and processes. Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies. Evaluate and implement failover systems for disaster recovery. TECHNOLOGIES YOU’LL WORK WITH Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 Okta JAMF Pro, Intune PowerShell Script, Bash, PHP, Python Active Directory, Apache, IIS, DNS, Nginx Ansible, GIT AWS, Cloud hosting VMware ESX/ESXi Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco IOS Routers and Switches SIP, MySQL, MSSQL Linux (Ubuntu and CentOS) WHAT YOU BRING A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of Windows and MacOS Experience. 5+ years of experience with designing/maintaining Windows based systems. Must Posses a high level of the Windows Operating system theoretical and technical experience. 5+ years of experience with architecting and supporting complex IT Infrastructures. 5+ years of experience with routing/switching. 5+ years of experience  with VMWare. Experience with backup and System Recovery. Development experience with Enterprise Technologies, Google Workspace, Okta, AWS, Attlassian.
