Why Box needs you: As a Senior Software Engineer at Box, you will be a part of the team maintaining and developing the web platform. You will be involved in initiatives leveraging up the platform capabilities. That will involve driving architectural discussions, defining and consulting frontend initiatives related with feature development and refactor. You will also be responsible for development of end to end solutions. Technologies involved will be JS (React/Redux/Node), TypeScript, some PHP and Java if needed. Since the team’s responsibility is around the core frontend platform of Box, we need your help in keeping its availability on 99.99% level. As a member of the team you will closely collaborate with Engineers and Architects on creating and implementing decided solutions. We are the team and we need our team player skills to leverage the synergy of the team to blow our customers minds What you'll do: Work with the team in US to onboard and learn about the current responsibilities Attend daily stand ups, sprint planning / retrospectives, team meetings, manager 1:1s Plan and effectively execute on project and quarterly deliverables. Maintain one or more legacy codebases Provide input in implementing standards across all product teams at Box Participate in production on-call rotation with your team members You will be an ambassador of Box Poland, representing the company and your team internally and externally Who you are: You have 5+ years of professional software development experience You have experience with TypeScript, JavaScript and React You have experience with Node.js You have experience working with legacy codebases You speak English proficiently You are oriented for solving problems regardless of technology - small modifications of Java or PHP will happen time to time.
