Role: As the Director of Product Marketing within the Marketing team, your scope of responsibility will be broad and varied. You will manage a team and also work cross-functionally, unifying, and motivating peers from different teams (e.g. product management, marketing, sales). Success in this role requires being an individual contributor, a coach, and a leader as needed to meet business needs. Your team’s primary focus will be to help the organization develop a deeper understanding of markets and buyers and support the development and execution of our go-to-market architecture and strategy. Your team will develop and refine messaging and positioning for offerings and develop sales enablement assets and programs. What you’ll do: Manage and develop a team of Product Marketing Managers Act as the voice of the customer, understand value to share with the customer, and act as a customer and product subject matter expert for the organization Provide market and buyer insights to drive the development of campaign strategies including demand creation and brand/awareness building Collaborate with marketing peers and external resources to produce relevant content to attract, engage, and convert  target buyers Enable sellers and coordinate the development of sales assets and tools Collaborate with sales and others to develop competitive insights, battle cards, and documentation for use in positioning against similar offerings from other organizations Collaborate with sales, product management/development, and others to manage and refine buyer personas and buyer journey maps across key audience segments Help the team develop effective product positioning and messaging  Help the team develop and manage a cohesive go-to-market architecture and strategy Manage launch planning for the Marketing workstream for the successful commercial release of products, updates, and services where applicable Conduct win/loss interviews and other customer research. Perform ongoing analysis to determine the level of customer adoption and provide feedback to the sales, marketing, and product teams. Collaborate with others in marketing, sales, customer success, and product management in developing retention and upsell/cross-sell strategies Your experience: 5+ years Product Marketing experience in the SaaS industry 5+ years people management experience Research focused and data-driven Product Marketer with experience measuring and optimizing Product Marketing efforts Proficient asset development, sales tools, and sales enablement experience Required experience standing up cross-functional programs Required experience with competitive intelligence programs Previous experience in insurance a plus Previous experience marketing data products a plus Previous experience with Partner Marketing a plus Excellent communication skills Excellent writing skills Excellent cross-functional collaboration We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement listed here.
