About the Role Key Responsibilities: Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts, including confidentiality agreements, vendor services agreements and statements of work, data processing addendums, and licensing agreements. Identify and make recommendations to internal stakeholders on business, legal and compliance risks.  Provide legal analyses on a variety of legal issues relating to commercial terms, regulatory compliance, employment, data protection and security, intellectual property, and marketing matters.  Collaborate with leadership, operations, finance, marketing, engineering, HR, and other departments throughout the organization. Support international expansion, operations and compliance matters. Develop and drive company policies, including continuous improvements of policies and processes as applicable.  Build out playbooks, clause libraries, and other legal processes to scale operational efficiency and standardize documentation across multiple jurisdictions.  Requirements: 4+ years as a licensed attorney with prior in-house or law firm experience. JD degree and membership with the California State Bar or equivalent. A collaborative partner with strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of SaaS, compliance, intellectual property, and commercial contracts.  Highly-motivated self-starter who takes a proactive approach to problem solving and project management. Ability to manage a high volume of work with competing priorities. Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and creativity to resolve complexities. Creative thinker, with a process-oriented but flexible working style  Full-time remote position with the attorney located in either Southern California or Northern California (with proximity to San Jose or Folsom). Additional Information The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $165,000 + equity + benefits.  Our salary ranges are determined by role and level.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, benefits, or any discretionary bonus components.   Equal Employment Opportunity Sibros is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
