Under CEO and Co-Founder Jennifer Hyman’s leadership, RTR has been named to CNBC’s “Disruptor 50” five times in ten years, and has been placed on Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list multiple times, while Hyman herself has been named to the “TIME 100” most influential people in the world and as one of People magazine’s “Women Changing the World.” Reporting: Senior Fashion Director What You'll Do : Create and produce inspiring, on-brand, on-trend, editorially-relevant outfits for approximately 48 products per day on set both on model and on mannequin. Will be asked to select upload samples and style complete outfits including accessories to present to the Fashion Director and execute on set. Develop strong, up-to-date knowledge of designers, brands, trends, street-style to translate for PDP styling. Work with the photographer and model on set to co-direct and select best poses. Ensure styling rails are organized and styling space is edited on a weekly basis. Coordinate workflow statuses and concerns to the Production team and On-line Stylist.  Ensure stock is not mishandled and communicate with the samples to team to help keep track of samples/stock.   Responsible for key areas and projects that support the business whilst maintaining core job role. Maintain a good balance of creative flair and understanding of the Rent The Runway aesthetic. About You : 4+ year previous styling experience in editorial and/or a commercial environment.  A real sense of runway looks and what trends are happening each season with a strong  knowledge of designers and brands. Able to communicate well and motivate as part of a team in a fast paced environment.  Excellent time management skills with the ability to react positively to evolving business requirements. Proactive and able to show initiative and implement ideas to constantly improve the image quality and studio processes.   Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines. Excellent work ethic with  a “can do” attitude. The anticipated base salary for this position is $68,000-72,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.
