PagerDuty is a high-growth company on an accelerated trajectory, and we are looking for an IT Enterprise Architect to drive the long term architectural vision of our IT systems, including our go-to-market (GTM) applications, our data systems, and our financial systems. As a Sr. IT Enterprise Architect, you will provide leadership on key architectural decisions, architecture strategy, and vision. You will also be responsible for establishing architecture principles, governance, review processes, review capability maps, as well as build out our multi year IT strategy and future architecture. This is the perfect role for someone who is passionate about finding and providing solutions that make businesses successful, as well as developing and maintaining the future state of PagerDuty’s system architecture and building out our business capabilities roadmap.
How You Contribute to Our Vision - Key Responsibilities:
Develop a long term roadmap to evolve PagerDuty’s Application ecosystem to support our future strategic goals.
Determine what software technology to invest in to support our roadmap and long term architecture plan.
Reduce cost through business application & process rationalization, standardization, and elimination of redundancies.
Create a strategy for the continuous improvement of the IT Business applications and lead initiatives to add value and functionality in this area.
Ensure operational excellence around process and procedures and maintain business process documentation.
Establish and lead architecture and solution review meetings with key Sales, finance stakeholders, IT, and procurement.
Collaborate with senior technology members from IT and security to design and deliver core technology solutions.
Ensure solutions improve process and system flows and do not duplicate existing functionality, eliminate manual touchpoints or diverge from business and IT strategies.
Build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with business stakeholders as well as technical leaders within IT and other engineers throughout the organization to drive PagerDuty’s IT systems strategy.
Support the evolution of architectural standards and designs using consistent service standards that are global, agile, scalable, and easy to maintain.
Increase IT agility through defining process standards in project planning and execution.
Basic Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years in a solution or technical architect role focused on IT technology.
Leadership capability and proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and significant experience in successfully presenting ideas, products, and concepts to varied levels in the organization to influence the strategic direction of IT systems.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive implementation for a variety of technical projects.
Ability to be a high-level strategy person and an “in the weeds” technical person.
Expertise in go-to-market cloud SaaS applications (e.g. SFDC, Zuora, Netsuite etc) .
Preferred Qualifications
Solid understanding on how to use data as strategic asset across SaaS business applications.
Experience with best practices in Order to Cash process .
Experience with Security best practices.
Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment especially in subscription business , interaction with Go-To market systems, Billing .
The base salary range for this position is 131,000 - 179,000 CAD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
