The role The Financial Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the FP&A team to provide insights, identify opportunities, and make business decisions informed by data. This role will work with the VP of FP&A to deliver sales performance metrics, pricing analytics, opex analysis, the creation of metrics dashboards, and assist in board deck presentation preparation. Our expectation is for this individual to learn, grow, and establish a deep understanding of the business and become an integral part of the team driving business decisions in the organization. This individual will have a very visible position, working closely with cross-functional team leaders as well as C-level executives.  What will you do at Presence? Perform detailed financial analysis including financial modeling, profitability analysis, and revenue analysis Maintain pricing and commission models Partner with department leaders to budget and forecast operating expenses Support the budget and forecast process by consolidating and analyzing data Prepare monthly reports for departments on their financial performance and provide insights on variances Work closely with the accounting team in the month-end close process through variance analysis of budget/forecast to actuals Manage data in our financial reporting systems and identify opportunities to enhance our existing tools and automate processes  Assist in board deck presentation preparation. Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis to support executive decisions What are we looking for? BA/BS degree required, within Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Progressive experience in FP&A, financial operations, data analytics, or equivalent quantitative roles  Advanced financial modeling and data analysis skills in Excel are required, including proficiency in translating financial concepts and data to into visual formats, i.e. bars, charts, and pivot tables (submissions of sample work will be required – see below for details) Demonstrated ability to use financial systems, proficiency in Intacct, and Adaptive preferred Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong work ethic and acute attention to detail with an exceptional level of accuracy Outstanding organization skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision Ability to build strong, cross-functional relationships and add value as a finance partner Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of a given set of constraints Proactive attitude toward improving work processes and learning new methods What are some of the benefits we offer?  Comprehensive Medical Coverage includes Dental and Vision Flexible PTO 11 Company Paid Holidays  Benefits Package: including 401K savings plan and access to an Employee Assistance Program. $500 home office stipend Paid Life insurance, AD&D., and disability benefits Paid parental and caregiving leave Eligibility to apply for a Professional Development Scholarship.  Inclusive Culture: We are intentional about creating a culture that is fun and inclusive.
