Site Reliability Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

If you'd like to build the world's best deep learning cloud, join us.  What You’ll Do Build, deploy, monitor, and maintain tooling and infrastructure across multiple cloud environments and physical data centers Build abstractions that simplify and unify the management of development and staging environments Work with multiple engineering teams to gather requirements and translate them into tooling and infrastructure projects Translate metrics into meaningful dashboards and actionable alerts  Participate in an on-call rotation and write runbooks for troubleshooting and resolving common issues You Have experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tooling Have a strong bias for operational excellence and incremental improvements Have experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Value working collaboratively, leading projects with multiple internal stakeholders Have experience deploying and monitoring infrastructure in public cloud environments Are comfortable working and debugging issues on the Linux command-line Nice to Have Experience with Ansible Experience with multiple public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI) Experience building and maintaining internal tools and infrastructure (secrets management, artifact storage, CI/CD platforms, identity management) Project management experience Scripting proficiency (Python) Familiarity with the Hashicorp stack (Vault, Consul, Nomad, Packer, Terraform) About Lambda We offer generous cash & equity compensation Investors include Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused venture fund We are experiencing extremely high demand for our systems, with quarter over quarter, year over year profitability Our research papers have been accepted into top machine learning and graphics conferences, including NeurIPS, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, and TOG We have a wildly talented team of 115, and growing fast Our remote workforce, based on role, is across the U.S., with headquarters in San Francisco Health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents Commuter/Work from home stipends 401k Plan Flexible Paid Time Off Plan that we all actually use Salary Range Information  Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $147,000-$229,000 . However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
