The Role:
The role of the Senior Program Manager is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Manager to help lead value delivery across agile programs. This role will work closely with agile engineering teams and programs to coordinate work efforts through a lean/agile process and ensure the teams have everything they need to efficiently deliver valuable outcomes.
The Senior Program Manager will also work directly with the Head of PMO to improve processes and discipline in portfolio management, product road-mapping, executive reporting, dashboards and tooling, cost accounting, driving innovation, and more. This will improve Forge’s alignment, transparency, and velocity.
The effective candidate will have a proven track record of successfully driving organizational optimizations and delivery efficiencies in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will have demonstrated success implementing lean/agile concepts, leading transformation, and coaching delivery teams and leadership.
Responsibilities:
Manage complex programs in a matrix delivery organization
Facilitate program and executive leadership ceremonies
Actively find risks, inefficiencies, and resolve cross-team issues
Provide day-to-day coordination and facilitate continuous improvement
Define and own metrics and key performance indicators
Collaborate closely with a wide range of teams and functions across Forge to improve alignment
Coaching and training lean/agile concepts and facilitating adoption and continuous improvement
Qualifications :
10 + years of experience in a n agile p rogram m anagement role with 1 5 + years total work experience
An undergraduate degree in a related discipline
Experience collaborat ing cross-functionally to prioritize needs and build productive working relationships while also holding teams and individuals accountable to deliverables
Skilled at agile p ro gram mana g ement , driving transformation , innovating, and reporting
Experience with Jira and Confluence
E xcellent communication skills , deep motivation and ownership
Training/certifications in lean/agile disciplines (CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, SAFe , Scrum @ Scale, etc.)
Nice to haves:
Fintech, financial services, or regulated industry experience
Experience as a Release Train Engineer
Experience driving agile transformation
For residents of San Francisco/Bay Area, CA or New York, NY the annual salary range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000 + bonus & equity. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors.
