Job Overview: The Services team works to empower learners, partners, and enterprise customers to achieve their goals on Coursera. The team is made up of four sub-teams: Learner Services, Partner Services, Program Management, and Teaching & Learning. We help learners succeed by implementing innovative systems and processes that solve problems. We also develop best practices and technical expertise to enable our partners to create high-quality content. As strong advocates for the Coursera community, we work to align cross-functional teams and build scalable solutions to continuously improve the Coursera experience. Coursera is looking for a Program Manager to join our Guided Projects & Short Content team. You will collaborate with colleagues in Product, Content Strategy, and Teaching and Learning to build world-class short-form content (Projects and short courses) for our global audience. In particular, you will be responsible for developing a scalable production strategy, building the content roadmap in a variety of topics and domains, qualifying and sourcing top Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that will teach the content, managing the content production, and working with the team to drive impact across the business. Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and production vendors, including contract and budget management Provide SMEs with project management and production support to fill content needs and deliver high-quality content on time Support the growth of  our network of instructors by helping qualify, vet and onboard SMEs  Work closely with our content strategy and product teams to identify content needs and build the content roadmap in a variety of domains and content formats Lead curriculum development efforts to clearly define learning objectives, learning outcomes and content titles Help refine and scale our end-to-end production process for different content types to ensure an efficient content production workflow Basic Qualifications: 3-4+ years experience in Content Production, Program Management, or similar job functions Strong relationship management skills, and prior experience managing external stakeholders, vendors, or SMEs Strong project management skills, with proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong understanding of instructional design principles and best practices for developing effective e-learning content Attention to detail, and experience working with data to inform strategy, decision making and continuous improvement Preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders Strong innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile, product-focused, team environment Knowledge of current trends and technologies in e-learning and instructional design Breadth of knowledge in Computer Science/Data Science topics, with understanding of key roles, skills and tools in these domains Strong analytical skills  with Excel or Google Sheets experience If this opportunity interests you, you might like these courses on Coursera: Creative Problem Solving Influencing People Data Analysis and Presentation Skills Compensation Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $ 75,000 and $164,000 for all US candidates. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
