The Position:
The Program Manager is responsible for managing programs to ensure on time delivery, appropriate resource allocation and on budget implementation of company and client initiatives. They will have a proven ability to methodically plan, monitor and manage large scale company wide initiatives with a thoughtful approach to client plans and implications.
Key Accountabilities:
Drive the program management for major clients as well as internal initiatives during the implementation phase, by performing high value activities relating to project planning, task tracking, and delivery reporting
Create and lead presentations on delivery progress, plan updates and budget spend and forecast, including status report updates, and other reporting
Develop and manage communication plans to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed and engaged as needed
Serve as a project Subject Matter Expert (SME) routinely briefing key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiatives
Chair project and status meetings and any steering or operating oversight committees to review progress with key constituents
Plan and execute processes, templates, tracking, and reporting for some or all the following project management/governance frameworks in line with client standards and processes:
Scope / Change Management
Financial Management (budgeting, forecasting etc.)
Resource Management
Manage Roles & Responsibilities including RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) matrices on assigned initiatives
Work within a team of strong willed and opinionated stakeholders across business and technical domains to identify the optimal solution scope, requirements and business process, architecture and design and delivery approach and implementation plan to support accountability and timely project delivery
Provide recommendations for improving processes across departments and business units
Serve as a partner to cross-functional areas and perform a range of related tasks that add value to the overall business
The Candidate:
5+ years of relevant business program management and professional experience is required
Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity
Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management and SDLC methodologies and tools
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives
Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects
Experience communicating with business and technology executives and tailoring both written and verbal communications as needed
Passionate about program management and technology
Team first mentality, can-do attitude, and dependability are a must
Motivated and organized, with excellent attention to detail and ability to focus
