Candidates who are willing to relocate are also encouraged to apply.  Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (C# & .NET)  Job Intro: In this role, you will be a part of the Verana Health Data Ingestion Team which is responsible for the ingestion of complicated and robust healthcare data into the Verana Health ecosystem. This team develops and maintains applications related to retrieving the data from our data partners. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with the troubleshooting and support of any issues within those applications. You will also assist in the installation and implementation of data applications at the practice and provider partners. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Build scalable windows services and Web API in AWS utilizing docker container technologies. Participate as well as guide junior engineers through code reviews Design solutions to solve problems related to ingestion of highly variable data structures in a highly concurrent cloud environment. Utilize C#.Net, NetCore and RESTful API skills to develop applications  Work closely with Architecture and Security teams to ensure Data is Encrypted and securely transferred. Use Existing API Gateways and Okta Authentication  Build microservices for providing abstraction to data ingestion related processes and information. Retain metadata for tracking of execution details to reproducibility and providing operational metrics. Work closely with Extraction and Normalization teams to plan new features and define requirements to the system to support the ingestion and normalization of data assets . Work closely with technology teams to understand processes and policies driving the team goals. Basic Requirements: Associates Degree in computer science, IT, or related job experience 5-7 years of experience in a system administration, software development, or role supporting software developers in a professional setting Demonstrated ability to support software tools in a collaborative, team oriented environment that are product and customer driven Expert in administration, modifying, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server Ability to write simple Lambda functions in AWS. Basic knowledge of AWS and ability to troubleshoot and monitor cloudwatch (write queries). Experience in developing Windows/Web based applications using RESTful methods. Experience in writing scripts, including Powershell  Great understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and administration. Experience with relatively low level back-end programming including efficient network communication, building reliable windows and linux services, and the use of streaming, compression, and common column oriented data storage formats for managing data transfers. Bonus Experience (optional) 5+ years of experience working in AWS cloud computing environment. We pay based on a market-based approach, supported with robust data and in alignment with the compensation of our existing team. We construct our compensation ranges based on the US national average but your pay may vary depending on your location and the cost of living index for that geographic area. In determining an offer, base salary will also be based on experience, qualifications, skills and market conditions.
